Hubblecast 60: Galaxy scores a bullseye

Hubble captures Arp 147, a pair of interacting galaxies that together resemble the number “10”. The collision sent a wave of star formation rippling outward through one galaxy, producing a brilliant blue ring of young, hot stars around the compact red core of the other.
