For its 26th anniversary in orbit, Hubble captured a turbulent region of star birth in the Bubble Nebula (NGC 7635), located about 8,000 light-years away in Cassiopeia. The stunning wide-field mosaic reveals how a massive, luminous star has blown a sphere of gas and dust seven light-years across, while surrounding clouds of material slowly fold inward under the radiation pressure.
